Well well, Southend finally has a university campus! About time we say!! Exactly what this town needs to add to its culture and development - a fresh input of some young, bright, diverse, party people! We hope to welcome you down to The Sunrooms over the coming weeks and months! And we are sure you will be having a lot of fun with us and all our party monster regulars!! xx.

DEAF & DUMB - EVERY 2ND SATURDAY OF THE MONTH

Saturday 11th September 2010, sees the monthly return of DEAF & Dumb at The Sunrooms! A night to escape many new musical genres and return to the past and present timeless'ness styles of the way music should be! DJ's Russell Tanner and Dan Stokes will be bringin the filth and splittin heads with their selection of Punk | Hardcore | Garage | Surf | 50s Rock n Roll | Psychobilly | and all things inbetween. We have also been on the look out for some bands to play on the night too, previous guests include... SPECIAL RECREATION WISH CLUB and THE VILE IMBECILES - next month, Southend's very own CB6 will be joining the line up so make sure you get that date down on a pad!! TUESDAYS - SOLID SOULUTION

Well, over the last couple of months Tuesdays have been really busy down at The Sunrooms. Some Tuesdays have even been busier than some Friday nights!! Big thanks to all the students coming back to Southend over the summer and showing their love to us. Hopefully now with the influx of students expected in the coming months in Southend - Tuesdays could go from strength to strength. But... we do need your help!! So... calling all friends, mid-week party people, students - new and old, wanna-be students and well, anyone who fancies a late drink on a Tuesday night! Come and join my staff and me every week, and get down to the sounds of Leon 'SHAIN CAW' James and PEA SOOPA, playing a selection of Hip Hop Classics, Roots Reggae and Dub. Vodka + Mixers are £1.50 all night long and a Pint of Carlsberg will set you back £2.50! Entrance is FREE till 11pm | £2 after!! Open till 2am! I.D may be required! xx.
